CTA "L" train

Take the Red line northbound to the Howard St. station. Change to the northbound Purple Line train. Exit at the Davis St. station; use the east exit doors onto Benson Ave. Turn left (north) and walk 1/2 block to Church St. Turn right (east) and walk 1/2 block; Something Wicked (816 Church St.) is on the south side.

Metra commuter train

Take the UP-North line to Davis St., Evanston. Exit on the north end of the platform (Church St.), walk approx. 1 block east (cross Benson Ave.).

Driving (from O'Hare International Airport)

Take the main exit road from the airport, which turns into I-190, east for about a half-mile. Exit right and go north on I-294, the Tri-State Tollway. You will be headed north toward Wisconsin and shortly after entering, you will need to pay a 50-cent toll. Go north about three miles to the Dempster Street eastbound exit. Take Dempster Street east approximately 9 miles through Park Ridge, Niles, Morton Grove and Skokie into Evanston. At Asbury Avenue in Evanston, turn left and go north about one-half mile to Church St. Turn right and follow Church St. about four blocks to Something Wicked. (Or turn on Maple Ave. to park at the Maple Ave. Garage.)
 

Driving (from the north or west)

Take I-94 East south to Skokie Blvd. (Note: the highway is called I-94 East, but runs south in Chicago.) Follow southbound Skokie Blvd. approximately 2 miles to Golf Rd. Turn left at the traffic light onto eastbound Golf Rd. Follow Golf Rd approximately four miles into Evanston (the road name changes to Emerson St. in Evanston). Turn right onto Maple Avenue. Park at the Maple Ave. Garage, or continue to Church St., turn left, and proceed two blocks east to Something Wicked.
 

Driving (from the south or southeast)

  • I-80/I-94: I-94 splits from I-80 and heads northbound south of Chicago
  • I-57: I-57 ends at and merges into I-94 on the south side of Chicago
  • I-90: I-90 merges with I-94 on the south side of Chicago

Once you are on northbound I-94: when I-94 splits from I-90, bear to the right, staying on I-94. If you choose the express lane on 90-94 (Dan Ryan Expressway), stay in that lane until it ends and merge with I-94 West. Take I-94 West north to Dempster Street eastbound exit. (Note: the highway is called I-94 West, but runs north in Chicago.) Follow Dempster St. approximately five miles through the suburbs of Skokie and Evanston. At Asbury Avenue in Evanston, turn left and go north about one-half mile to Church St. Turn right and follow Church St. about four blocks to Something Wicked. Driving (from the west or southwest)

  • Eastbound I-80: Follow I-80 until the interchange with I-55; take northbound I-55.

Follow northbound I-55 until the interchange with I-90/I-94; take northbound I-90/I-94. When I-94 splits from I-90, bear to the right, staying on I-94. Take I-94 north to Dempster Street eastbound exit. (Note: the highway is called I-94 West, but runs north in Chicago.)
